On Nov. 15, Mr. Li Jianqi, Secretary of CPC Hunan City University Committee, led a delegation of 7 members to visit the university. Mr. Han Junfeng, Secretary of CPC Beibu Gulf University Committee, and Mr. Chen Lei, vice-president of Beibu Gulf University, received the guest, with the head of relevant departments, e.g. Post-graduate Affairs Office, Ocean College, College of Resources and Environment, etc.

At the beginning, Mr. Han Junfeng accorded a warm welcome to Mr. Li Jianqi and other delegates. He gave a detailed introduction of the university’s development history and experience. He hoped that the two sides will establish a communication mechanism and cooperation in the field of communication between staff and students, talent training, and discipline construction, so as to better serve staff and students, and the goal of high-quality development and comprehensive reform of the two sides.

Mr. Li Jianqi highly praised the effectiveness of BBGU. He pointed out that Beibu Gulf University has a unique location advantage and develops its own characteristics according to this advantage, and the university would have a broad development prospect.
