On the afternoon of Nov. 12, 2nd Western China Normal University Teacher Education Innovation and Development Alliance 2022 Summit and the Western China Teacher Education Revitalization Forum were held in Guilin. The forum focused on how to support the construction of normal education in the western derdeveloping areas, strengthen the construction of school talent team, discipline and professional construction. Mr. Ren Youqun, Director general of the Department of Teachers Affairs of the Ministry of Education, delivered a speech on teacher education via video. Mr. Tang Gaohua, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Beibu Gulfu University Committee and vice president of Beibu Gulf university, attended the forum and made a speech entitled "How to Improve the Quality of Teachers Training in non-normal universities".

In his speech, Mr. Tang Gaohua emphasized the importance and advantages of training normal students in non-normal colleges, analyzed the existing difficulties, and put forward suggestions to improve the quality of training normal students in non-normal colleges, which was highly praised by the delegates.
