On October 24, BBGU held a freshmen representative session in the conference room 327 of the administration building. Mr. Han Junfeng, Secretary of CPC Beibu Gulf University Committee, and Mr. Chen Xiangru, deputy secretary of CPC Beibu Gulf University Committee, joined the session and communicated with 36 students.
Ou Wei Ni, freshmen representative from the Collegel of Ceramics and Design, expressed her gratitude to the university and said she would study hard and stay optimistic. According to Yao Yu, freshmen representative from the College of Electronic and Information Engineering, it is necessary to make a good study plan and gradually achieve goals.
Mr. Han and Mr. Chen listened carefully to the representative and gave detailed answers and guidance to their questions.
Mr. Han Junfeng put forward three hopes for the student representatives. First, Mr. Han expects them to face up to difficulties, build up confidence and strive for greater progress. Secondly, he hopes them cherish the time and keep improving sustainably. Thirdly, he hopes them to stay being grateful of parents and the university, and pass along the baton of love.
During the session, the representative received consolation subsidy from BBGU. Mr. Pei Yiming, director of Student Affairs Office, presided over the session.
