In his report, Mr. Liu Congqiang, based on the perspective of multi-disciplinary integration, deeply analyzed the coastal wetland system evolution, the coastal wetland ecosystem restoration and protection and its problems, and the ecological function restoration of the coastal earth system scientific research under the background of global change, and further elaborated the key issues needed to achieve the scientific protection of wetland ecosystems and regional sustainable development.

Professor Shen Manhong comprehensively analyzed the diversification of China's ecological protection compensation mechanism from Secretary-General XI JINGPING’s important discourse on the ecological compensation system, the spiritual essence and practical results of the ecological compensation system, and the countermeasures and suggestions for further improving the ecological compensation system.
