BBGU conducted orientation training for post-graduate tutors on September 22, 2022. Mr. Huang Hu, vice-president of BBGU, hosted the training.

The training started with the introduction given by Mrs. Liu Qiong, director of Graduate Studies Office, BBGU, of BBGU’s plan for the team development of post-graduate tutors, development of quality assurance system for post-graduate education, etc.

Then Mr. Jian Jinbao, vice-president of Guangxi Minzu University, made a report on How to deliver good post-graduate: from the tutor’s and post-graduate’s perspective. Based on his rich experience and the current situation of post-graduate education, Mr. Jian elaborated how to become a qualified porst-graduate tutor in terms of tutors’ general skills, teaching practice, development of post-graduate’s integrative competence and guidance of post-graduates’ employment. Mr. Jian further pointed out that post-graduate tutors should be ones with both high knowledge and moral integrity, and should treat this position as a sacred and noble career and guide students with careful plan and guidance.
